The KEY to know if you are TALENTED enough

October 16, 20234 min read

Do I have enough talent?

Do I have everything I need to be a successful artist/mom/composer/writer?

Do you really think I’m good enough?

We all hear these questions lurking around inside our head from time to time… or sometimes even too often. Because the truth is that not having self-confidence it’s something that happens to all of us at some point in our lives.

Especially when you’re talking about THAT THING  that you’re really passionate about.

That thing that really defines you, that really is in your inner self, looking for the opportunity to flourish and get real.

Most of the time what I’m doing is managing the amazing team that we have in our company Cinematic Composing. And then I’m also a mum, a wife, a daughter… loooots of different roles in my life, as you also may have.

But that’s just one part of me.

I’m first of all a CREATOR, a writer. I love writing and I’m obsessed with human potential and ways to self-development.

What would we be capable of if we didn't have any of the limitations and fears that we do have in our lives?

I consider myself a writer because when I’m writing I really feel that everything is in place, it feels right and my mind goes to unexpected places constantly creating.

Of course, I love doing other things, like being an entrepreneur and managing a team, but although I love doing this, that would come in second place when I have to define myself.

For me, writing comes first.

And, this is the key question: Do I consider myself a writer because I write books and sell thousands of copies, and I get paid for that?

No.

Is it my main source of income?

No.

And here’s the thing. It doesn’t have to do with money. It’s not money-related. AT ALL.

The KEY to know if you are TALENTED enough

As an example, you already are A COMPOSER if you get excited about creating emotions and feelings with your music.

If composing is the thing that you KNOW for sure that gives you a spark that you never felt before…. Then it means, that inside you, you ARE a COMPOSER.

It doesn’t matter if you know the theory or if you have the experience, or if you make money out of it…

That… comes later on in the game…

It comes just after that inner feeling of knowing what you are meant to be, what you really are supposed to become and do here, in this life.

In my case I’M A WRITER, I know it. I feel different when I’m in the flow and writing… It is like a divine process for me, where I feel at that very same moment, that I’m somehow connected to something much bigger than me

And I really feel that it has to do with believing in yourself and believing that your purpose in this life is related to that passion of yours: MUSIC in your case. WORDS for me.

I wrote a book last year about that.

Book-personal-development-you-all-you-need

About how we tend to believe that we don’t have what we need in order to make our dreams come true, and, you know what?

It’s in that precise moment, when we have those LIMITING BELIEFS about ourselves, that we give away our power.

YOUR power to really be the person that you really want to become and do something in your life that truly inspires you and others. The power to create something that is uniquely you, with your voice and your heart in it.

You only need to be yourself to make your dreams come true, because everything you need, is already inside you.

BUT, to do this, you need to take control of your beliefs and work daily on this vision of yours.

And it’s not easy at all, I’m not saying that!

Because our minds always get in the way, trying to protect us, it’s their job. But you’re not your mind, you’re more than that, and the truth of who you are and what you’re meant to do in your time here is in your heart and soul.

But to listen to your heart and soul, you must take action towards your vision and visualize yourself already where you’d like to be and who you’d like to become.

TAKE ALIGNED ACTION and  SURROUND YOURSELF with LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE.

That’s when  everything changes.

You feel empowered and renewed.

You start listening to your call.

And it’s in that precise moment when your hero’s journey begins.
